Default Uh Area of effects? Scythe attacks.

Alright I understand that for example:

"Chilling Victory

Scythe Attack. If it hits, this attack strikes for +5...17 damage. Whenever it hits a foe who has less Health than you, target foe and all adjacent foes are struck for 15...51 cold damage."

Has area of effect damage.

What I don't understand is:

"Reap Impurities

Melee Attack. If this attack hits, you deal +10...26 damage. You gain 15...63 Health for each foe you hit that is suffering from a Condition."

How does this hit more than one opponent?

I think I'm missing something simple here, like is every attack a Dervish makes AoE?

Yup. Scythe attacks are AoE - they can hit your target and up to 2 adjacent foes in an arc in front of you.

An arc of 180 degrees, to be precise. Positioning has never been this important since the introduction of that nasty scythe.

Scythes hit up to two additional targets in the AoE "Adjacent to your Target" that you can see in the Isle of the Nameless.

Peace,

it hits foes adjacent to your target, not adjacent to you.

hence the fact that I said it was on occasion and that it was weird that it did that.
